Uncharted was actually made by a first party studio since Sony owns Naughty Dog they had acquired them back in 2001. Insomniac is the 2nd party dev's, it's kind of hard to remember they are actually aren't owned by Sony.

That believe it or not that buying take-2 main reason could be for the stranglehold on the NFL license by buying up take-2 and acquiring 2k sports seeing as how 2k is usually their main competitor as far as football and the majority of sports games.

I'm not the only person that feels this way. And i agree with you that the game could have used more player interaction or better storytelling through in-game actions or eavesdropping on conversations. I also actually missed the codec conversation i know you can still call them and have those conversation and such but the codec convo's of how the story unfolded there is missed for me. It's wasn't just about the story but how the characters reacted and talked with each other during those momen...

This is something i've been thinking about alot since first playing Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. I've always been a big fan of the Metal Gear Solid games because the cutscenes were some of the best and most memorable and the stealth gameplay was awesome as well. It was a perfected blend of wildly awesome cutscenes and action packed gameplay that was so different from everything i played. The environments i played in was immersive and the boss battles very distinct and memorable. ...

And i have to say. Any score under a 9 for Metal Gear Solid 4 is "wow" to me. I don't get how people can give the game under a 9. Seriously. Also it said the core is getting old? So much stuff changed in MGS4 that it barely feels like a MGS game at times. I know it's a matter of opinion but it's just hard to wrap my head around how someone gives the game a 8.

It turns out to be good i'll fully admit i was completely wrong about Too Human, you can quote me on this.

It can temper with the experience from a gamers perspective. Maybe not so much as the hype a game gets from the press but from the actual gamers. Usually when i hear a game is the best of all time or a masterpiece or whatever wording that's used i usually end up extremely skeptical of said title. Case and point i'm a pretty big MGS fan and because i hear people saying it's the best ever and reading some reviews i'm questioning things and analyzing it more than i would have. It's still a reall...

Did he call it Metal Gears of War? Seriously the first act so far has been the WORST act to sneak in because of all the action going on around you. Not just that but it's really difficult to spot places to sneak through in act 1. The following acts from what i've played through have alot more emphasis on sneaking.

I know i'll catch some flak for this. No i'll catch alot of flak for this but to me Too Human is looking like this years 360 exclusive equivalent to Haze on the Ps3. Every time i see a video for this game it just seems underwelming. I felt the same way about Haze trailers and gameplay. I just don't see Too Human being good. Mediocre probably with 7's and some 8's. But nothing over that.

I'll dive in a little deeper, the story sounds a bit interesting since it centers around Nors...

I myself prefer single player games but i do like this direction they are taking with actually really trying with online gaming. It's some good first steps in my opinion. Just don't touch Uncharted and make it have online. If anything include some online co-op for Uncharted 2. Also don't include online in God of War 3. Please.

Act 3 last night and i have a total of 18 and a half hours put in. I'm more than sure that at least 14 of those hours were from playing the game. It's tooken me extremely long to take out the bosses with my tranquilizer gun, in fact the first boss i took over 2 hours to beat with my tranquilizer gun. I think like most said it depends on how you play the game. MGS is a STEALTH game first and foremost even though you can gun through the game. Though by doing that you won't get the satisfaction ...

They should have had Ninja Gaiden 2 somewhere on that list. I know the reviews haven't been all 9's and 10's but it still doesn't take away from the fact that it's a really good game. Specially since Ninja Gaiden Sigma was on the Ps3. But it's a good list none the less.

I played through and beat MGS3 followed by MGS2 (i'm a fan of the series) but i never played or beat MGS1. And the story is absolutely a masterpiece in my eyes already. It felt like it was missing some Metal Gear charm at first but just progressively it got better and better and after act 3 i can say i was wowed. I just hope it at least keeps up this pacing because i felt earlier in the game it wasn't what i was expecting and left a certain something to be desired. Now i see it's just all com...

Act 3 and the last parts of it was awesome. It definitely had that Metal Gear charm that i felt it was missing in act's 1 and 2. It seems to progressively get better. I hope it keeps up this pacing, because right now i'd give it a 9.5 i need something else to really put it over the edge to a 10 for me.

Well honestly it's still a rumor. But IF it is true all i have to say is "yikes". I wouldn't have expected multiple disks on a racing game.

Also it seems the Ps3 installs is on par with the 360's disk switching (but it's more common in ps3 games than multiple disk 360 games) both are annoying.

I don't really mind ads. If that what it takes for it to remain free i'm all for it. I don't mind ads i think basically because it's part of business and i barely take notice on them only when i'm trying to find the button that says "skip to the article" or whatever. Since home is a virtual reality type of thing i imagine more virtual posters and lobbies and shizz filled with advertisements for products. Even stuff for your home decoration i can see some product placement there as w...

I don't know but this article is basically saying that Sony HAS to charge for PSN to keep up with XBOX Live. To me that's not true. As most of us know HOME will have alot of ads and that's how it'll remain free. I think the big thing for Sony and PSN from a gamers perspective is keep it free, do everything in your power to keep it free. That's the huge difference between the two services and if you're just following in the competitions footsteps which the article is suggesting in my mind you'...

I can see when he says that it didn't feel like a "9 game" to him because it's quite frankly a matter of opinion with reviews. But when he calls into question people giving a free pass to MGS after you know his own site gave a 10 to gta4 then a few days later produced a article of why they are bored of GTA4 already and he talks about giving games passes. I think the thing is here is that he's saying the hype or what's produced from MGS4 is so large hype wise and gameplay wise. Then ...

In Infamous if i can than i'll be incredibly happy. There's not enough games where you play as the bad guy.

I really notice about their reviews is that all of them except for Gamedaily are European reviewers. But besides that i don't know why there's such a big difference in the majority of reviews compared to the others.
